Cat Coven's interpretation of the Hermit tarot card. The Hermit is a card of spiritual growth and self discovery. I imagined a weary knight, taking a break from the battlefield. Instead of fighting with the outside world, they turn to look within. They have covered their armor with a wanderer's cloak and use a single lantern to light the path through the fog. The brambles around the frame symbolize the obstacles one may face when taking this path, but there is always fruit on the end of the branches. And of course, the cats are there because they are solitary, magical creatures and my #1 companions during the hermit phase of my life.
